The FRAMES Movement System class is characterized by the integration of the following modules and training sessions:

Physical Movement: This module focuses on various aspects of body movement, aiming to increase awareness, improve fluidity and coordination.

Athletics Work: This training session includes exercises aimed at developing strength, endurance, and agility, essential for facing and optimizing physical performance.

Physical Score: This module centers on the rhythmic analysis of movement using the metronome to create a physical score, which fosters precision and expressive quality in dancers.

Core Ballet Skills for Contemporary Dancers: This module enables you to acquire foundational ballet knowledge, integrating it directly into contemporary training, which aids geometric and linear movement recognition.

Physical Training with Props: Characterized by the use of tools (trampoline, tennis balls, sticks, wedges, fitballs, etc.), this module aims to increase coordination, speed, and precision for dancers.

Creative Tools for Dancers: Through creative tools, choreography writing techniques, and improvisation, this module will explore and develop your creativity.

The Contemporary class allows you to deepen: 

• the foundational principles of contemporary dance, integrating them into dynamic combinations and choreographic sequences;
• contemporary movement patterns to gain skills necessary for facing the complexity and variety of contemporary choreographic languages.

Partnering class helps you gain:

• mastery in partnering work and lifts;
• knowledge of using weight and levers, facilitating cooperation with a partner;
• sensitivity and perceptual skills in the work of listening to one another.

Masterclasses offer you the opportunity to meet and interact with internationally renowned artists from the contemporary dance scene.

They enhance your educational experience, skill development, and expand your knowledge of international contemporary dance realities.

The KUTE project gives you the opportunity to work directly with contemporary international choreographers. The choreographers create a piece specifically for SPECIFIC dancers, who explore diverse visions and choreographic approaches, enriching their experience.

The Accessory Body Training class focuses on strengthening specific body parts to enhance overall dancer performance. Training specifically targets speed, rhythm, and the combination of precision and power.

The Vocal Training class helps you master voice usage, raising awareness of breathing and the diverse sound vibrations it can generate, fostering a deep connection with movement and dance.

The Physical Theatre class focuses on physical movement as a means of expression, identifying the person and "physical presence" at the core of creative potential. It seeks an organic relationship between gesture, action, and sound/word.

The work fundamentally involves studying the body and its language, its multiple possibilities for shaping and communicating.

The Advanced Rolf Structural Integration masterclass helps dancers gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between body and space, body structure and movement, posture, gravity, and functionality.

The purpose of Mentorship is to provide guidance and experience, significantly contributing to your growth journey, allowing you to accelerate the development of your skills.

Daily advice will be provided during classes, and periodically personalized guidance will help orient you during stages of your personal and artistic growth journey.

This class, dedicated to 2nd and 3rd-year dancers, focuses on studying and practicing the repertoire of choreographer Loris Petrillo.

The focus is on learning and interpreting original versions of works or reinterpreting them, encouraging students to express themselves through a strong, highly physical and expressive artistic language.

Over the years, SPECIFIC dancers have worked on the choreographic works: Powder (2018-2021), Bolero (2018), Don Quijote (2015), One plus one equals one (2012), Il bianco nel mezzo (2010), M.carnedellamiacarne (2010), and Il cece nel secchio (2007).

2nd and 3rd-year students of SPECIFIC have the opportunity to access Bo.A.T. – Botteghe Anonima Teatri, a multidisciplinary professional development program featuring masterclasses on contemporary theater, methods for physical actions, vocal action techniques, acting techniques, film acting, dramaturgy, contemporary dance, and choreographic composition with nationally renowned educators, directors, actors, and choreographers.

2nd and 3rd-year students:

• may have the opportunity to join PYC Petrillo Young Company*
• may be selected as interns for Compagnia Petrillo Danza.*
• may gain access to the summer internship at Cie Twain Physical Dance Theatre.*
• may be selected for replacements or new productions at Compagnia Petrillo Danza, Anonima Teatri, and Cie Twain Physical Dance Theatre.*

These practical experiences allow the application of acquired skills in a real work context, facilitating the transition to professional careers in dance.

*Participation is at the discretion of the Directors of the respective Companies, according to the rehearsal schedule.
